Hoenn’s Pokémon diversity was quite interesting and something that Joseph hadn’t expected. It reminded him of home in a lot of ways. You could never be completely sure what sort of Pokémon was going to show up and that made the hunt always a lot more interesting.

He knew that some regions were unfortunately lacking in these sorts of departments which was of course a shame, that went without saying of course. It’s what made little walks like these fun, the surprise element.

There was an attempt by a Haunter to frighten the young man which resulted in failure. Its attempt didn’t faze Joseph at all, if anything he found it cute. ”Nice try.” Joseph said with a cheeky smile.

The Haunter, annoyed with this flippant respond decided it would be a smart idea to attack Joseph which soon ended in disaster as Joseph’s own ghost shot from his shadow and attacked the Haunter. This was enough to scare the Haunter off.

”Disappointing.” And he continued on his way.

Now this was an interesting find, Joseph didn’t expect to come across a Dhelmise out here. Joseph used his Typhlosion to do battle with the ghost Pokémon.

The fire type would make quick work of it given the typing but he’d have to make sure to not too much damage to it. A quick flamethrower here and another there and the Sea Creeper Pokémon would be weak enough for Joseph to throw an empty capsule at it in an attempt to capture it.
